To whom it may concern In 2003 and 2004, I travelled to England as chef d'equipe of teams of young riders, representing the Equestrian Federation of Australia, Victorian branch. Panama Sport Horses supplied the horses for our teams on both occasions. Our teams competed against local teams on their own mounts. The quality of the horses supplied to us was such, that in 2003 one of our team was awarded 'Rider of the Series'. This is no mean feat when competing against top quality opposition mounted on their own horses. At the conclusion of the 2004 tour, members of our team were invited to compete in the Towerlands Senior Nations Cup, again competing on horses supplied by Panama Sport Horses. The quality of the opposition, both riders and their own horses were formidable, but our team ran 2nd, beaten only by one rail. These remarkable results would not have been possible, if the quality of horses supplied to our team, were not of such a high standard. Nick Saville, principal of Panama Sport Horses, is a very experienced horseman, who has clearly demonstrated his ability to supply the right horses for competitors in high quality international competitions. I have no hesitation in recommending Nick and Panama Sport Horses highly. ours Faithfully, Brian Johnston Thought it was about time I gave you an update on Paint (now Oscar). He is going incredibly well, and I really love him to pieces! I have discovered he is the kind of horse who definitely works better if he is getting lots of work - which is great and is certainly keeping me busy! He has to be one of the easiest horses to handle - such a sweetie and happy to be lead by anyone or tied up anywhere!! He has also become much fitter and is really forward to ride, which is excellent! Our schooling is coming on in leaps and bounds and fortunately the yard has just had the outdoor arena extended and improved so that means we will be starting lots of show jumping practice to get us ready in time for the start of the season! He really is an amazing horse and i'm so lucky to have him! ,
Just to let you know Lofly Boy, who we bought from you in November 2010, is going very well. I ve started weekly dressage lessons on him and he s taken to it like a duck to water. He s got such great paces and works really hard, Im hoping to start competing with him soon. He s also an absolute love to handle, and exactly what we asked you for. Just to let you know that Glen and I are getting on great! He's already a star and is getting me back into riding! I have already had some lessons on him and have got both of us on a strict fitness routine! We're going to a trailblazers competition in a couple of weeks...and have a few hunter trials planned. We both need to get back into competition mode - as we've both had a year off! Im looking forward to coming back to you for some much needed lessons in the summer!
Hope you are both well, just thought I would give you a update on how Billy (aka Mash as he was called) is getting on, we have been doing a lot of schooling on flat with Billy to train him up for Dressage as I plan Event him ASAP, as you both know he is a very quick learner and he loves his job he's slipped right into the routine, his flat work is super now and he's enjoy it too, jumping wise well what can I say he's got a fantastic jump to him, so that makes my job easy I hardy need to help him, he goes and clears everything without prompting, he is amazing and I'm made up to have him. I will be hunting him in the winter can't wait to try him over some hedges, I would like to take this opportunity to thank both of you, I gave you a list of what sort of horse I was after and you gave me exactly what I ask for thank you once again. Just had dressage lesson on my favorite new boy dylan and I now cant wait to enter an event. What a fabulous attitude, he learnt quickly and adapted to my way of riding quite quickly. We jumped some XC the other day including a big hedge and ditch and he was awesome. Going to aim for kelsall in September but have VERY high hopes for next year. I know it was hard to part with him Carol, but thanks, cos I love him. will send some pics when i get some. Just to let you know that Glen and I are getting on great! Im looking forward to coming back to you for some much needed lessons in the summer! Thought i would just let you know that Poppy or Rainbow as you know her has settled into her new home really well. Laura and Poppy have got a good bond with each other and are coming along really well, Poppy follows Laura around, when coming in from the field Poppy either comes to the gate or follows Laura to the gate and when told to go to her stable she just takes herself to the stable, bless. We have took her to Ilkley Riding Show and she was really good. We will keep in touch and let you know how she goes Thanks Pam Michael and Laura. x Just to let you know that Glen and I are getting on great! He's already a star and is getting me back into riding! Just a quick note to say how well Elliot has settled in - he has been so chilled out since the minute he got off the wagon! I am really pleased with him - such a nice personality and easy to handle. We have have been hacking out and he is great in traffic - next week we are taking him jumping at a local show, so I am looking forward to that.

Also to update you on Millie .. well what can we say she has never put a foot wrong since she came to us at Christmas. We've been to Myerscough for lessons, she happily travels in our trailer (just need a bigger one so can fit both our "big girls" in together), done hacking in all sorts of traffic, schooling, jumping and generally having a great time with her. We're planning to go to Crowwood shortly and also hope to get back over to your place too if that's still ok? Thanks ever so much for making me, Darren and Arri so welcome last week. It was so lovely to be chilled out for once, in a great atmosphere and was just what both me and Arri needed. I'm now looking for somewhere else to keep him (not easy round here), as all the facilities in the world don't make up for being stressed, with an unhappy horse!! Just a pity you aren't nearer! Please thank Andy and the girls for helping to make our stay such a good one. Hope to be back at some point, as desperate to try your gallops! Thanks again, Vicki Just a little note to let you know how Phylis is going on (we call her filly) she has really settled at my moms and goes out in the field everyday, she is a pleasure to own and we all love her much. Many Thanks for giving me the opportunity to own a lovely horse Helen Morrison
Sorry about not being in touch for a while I have been very busy with Noz, she is well and truly settled now and seems to be getting better everyday. I have hunted her all season and she was brill at it, jumpped everything.. even a few hedges! We are also doing alot of pony club stuff at the moment and her falt work and jumpping are coming on really well. Hopefully going to bsja senior novice on her soon, I was ment to do it a month ago but it snowed so we coulnt go, and my first event should be on the 9th of may. I cannot thankyou enough for selling Noz to me and hopefully we will have many happy years together.
Happy New Year to you. Sorry we have not been back in touch but have been snowed in and today is the first day back at work. I just wanted to say how pleased we are with Quest (Faringdon Lodge). This horse has proved to be exactly as described to us by yourselves and we are really delighted. Only having had him for two weeks, Quest went hunting with the Warwickshire Hunt and stood perfectly at the meet and Louise, our daughter came home full of praise for him. Unfortunately, the day was spent on a lot of plough which is very heavy at the moment because it has been so wet and they had to jump a small post and rails out of one field. A couple of trot strides and one of canter and he popped out beautifully. He has manners to burn and is a perfect gentleman in and out of the stable. He has made friends with There Ya Go (Go Go) and enjoys playing with him in the field. Thank you so much for your honesty in describing him and we will come back to you to look for a hunter for Louise’s boyfriend, Richard. Judy hello carol ... I just wanted to let you know how coco is getting on. she's a fab horse and am really pleased with her :) I have taken her to trawden show and she did really well. thank you so much for helping us find her and I have sent you some photos in the email to show you how she is getting on. thank you again and hope everything is going okay there :) from Vicky , Vicky and Nigel Just wanted to let you know how Romeo (Edward) is doing. He is going very well and we took him to his first show in the summer, it was only a showing/working hunter show and we placed in every class! Also many people have told me he would make a very nice w.h horse!! He has gained so much in confidence and has filled out and is up to weight now and is starting to look lovely. We came first in a sj competition the other weekend, doing our first jump off. And in the summer we cleared a 4ft fence http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvwghQf58T4 which we were very happy about. Thank you very much, Gabbie Floris. Hi sorry it has taken so long to send you this update on stryder , but we have been really busy with him, what a star he is shannon is now jumping opens with him and proving to be careful and honest, in the next few weeks we will be going BSJA with him can you believe that knowing how timid shannon use to be, not any more thanks to styder he's not only her pony but her best friend, he's looking really good and i will get shannon to send a photo of him. this is just a quick email to let you know how Jessie is and thank you for all your help. She settled in very quickly and people on the yard can not believe she is so young! She takes everything in her stride, is very relaxed to ride and new sights and sounds don't seem to make her flap. She is brilliant to handle and walks calmly at my side, yet she is forward going to ride without being hot or nervous. The other day a tractor was moving the muck heap next to the arena when we were riding - it was slapping and scraping the floor a couple of meters away but she didn't even look at it. I absoloutely adore her. Carol was good enough to find her a small pony to ride and they have had a fab week, what a fantastic pony !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just writing to say thank you very much for letting me do work experience on your yard, it was a pleasure. Thank-you for the lessons, advice and the trip to Barton, it was great! I cannot wait to come back and help out again!
Thank you very much, for bringing Jez up to Scotland last month. He has settled in well at his new home and I have to say he is absolutely as you described him; a real gentleman with an engaging and harmless sense of humour. He is so good out hacking, I have had him out more in the last three weeks than I did my previous horse in the past three years! We are taking it slowly with him, but he’s already beginning to show his capabilities and he’s likely to do his first dressage show later this week and I reckon we’ll have him in the Jump Cross competition by the end of the Summer. Then who knows! One thing for sure, you were spot on when you said that he had a lot to teach me. I’m really enjoying him and rediscovering how much I like riding! Thanks to you and Carol for all your kindness, help and advice. Just like to say thanks buz (fluster buster) is everything and more you said he would be it's so refreshing to see a pony thats described to be what it is and to buy a pony from a seller that is 100% honest, even to point of telling you the bad points not that there really are any to mention. to anyone buying a horse/pony buy with confidence from this seller, what your told your getting is what you get. thanks again. Lyn Fluster buster now a Pony Sapphire finalist. Luso doing really well georgie really confedent with her what do you think about her comin in the summer hols for couple of weeks Thankyou for all u have done to help us even though it cost me more georgie happy thats the main thing Just a quick note to let you know how he is getting on. He is very settled and everyone loves him! Took him to Somerford yesterday, our lst xc training and he was unbelieveable!! He is very brave - bank. ditches - jumped everything, (even if a little too fast but we're working on it) Hi just thought I would drop you a line to let you know how the mere is I bought. if you can
remember we came to see some cods but the lorry was late so we looked at cherry {as I call her} my friend James was with me. Well she is doing really well, we are getting along great, she is very settled and is everything you said she would be.
She can be playful, but also sensible As she is still young we can live and learn together,
Thank you so much, I will forward on some photos so you can see Rosie has settled in well in her new home and is loving all the company. She is a pleasure to ride and is all you said about her and more. As an older rider who has just got back in to riding she is giving me so much confidence. I even jumped a course the first in over thirty years. We have also been out hacking and she was a gem. I will certainly recommend you to any friends who are looking for horses as you seem to know what horse suits the rider the best and do everything you possibly can to find the perfect match. |
